Dr. Avinash Upadhyay is a highly qualified and experienced Medical Oncologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cancers. He holds an MBBS from Patna Medical College, MD in Medicine from JIPMER, and DM in Medical Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi—one of India’s premier medical institutions.
With over 4+ years of dedicated experience in oncology, Dr. Avinash Upadhyay has been actively involved in advanced cancer care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. He is currently working as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna, where he also leads the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit, successfully initiating and performing bone marrow transplant procedures.
In addition to his clinical work, he serves as an Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at Patna Medical College and is also associated with Apollo Spectra Hospital.
Dr. Avinash Upadhyay has contributed significantly to cancer research, with multiple publications in reputed national and international journals. He is also a recognised national faculty speaker at leading oncology conferences such as ESMO Update, Fortis Cancer Summit, and Cancer Connect.
